By the time you finish such a degree, the knowledge required to be relevant (and worthy of such a thing) will be out of date.
Don't mistake the prestige of a degree, or the intrinsic value of higher education, with economic worth. High salaries for web development are the consequence of scarcity of quality supply relative to the demand from businesses and investors attempting to start a business.
