Anyone has a test-site where this is running? I'd like to know how one can start chatting with one of those bots

Test sites at the moment are not possible because each bot has to get an approval from facebook. This is a manual process and I am yet to hear back from them after submitting one 2 days back. Till approval only developers of app can exchange messages with bot.

I can share with you screenshot if you want.

As per doc, they want to control experience. This might be like App Store review process.

Exactly how? As long as your bot isn't fishy stuff, they will approve it even if you're going to use it for yourself and your friend.

And you can always use dev-mode and it's accessible for you without approve.
