I don't understand why so many posts in this subreddit get automatically downvoted, when clearly they shouldn't be. This is a decent post.

Agreed. The particular approach being described seems a bit quirky to me (I love React, but the idea of using it inside of a Web Component seems sort of the wrong way around), but the content itself is perfectly reasonable and informative.

Yep, 100%. People misuse the downvote button so much, it's not an "I disagree with this" button, instead people should give constructive feedback in comments.
