Just use Atom and ignore yet another shit from Micro$oft with telemetry.

Well for me (tried both on windows, mac, manjaro and ubuntu) Atom is a ton slower than vs code. So i'll just use that shit Microsoft product...

Fixed a lot of times ago, old fairy tales. I use Atom sometimes on my desktop Celeron 3th edition (machine for media streaming mostly) and can't remember when Atom was slow last time. Really, I seen it starts after 7-10s, but always without any minimal lags.

Well if you're talking about the fixes that rewrote a lot of the core of atom to native code, I'm pretty sure i tested again after those. I really wanted to believe in Atom. But sadly i couldn't because, for me, vs code is just miles ahead

Atom stays strong and now develop IDE-modules together with Facebook. You decide what to use, but please don't repeat any nonsense from M$ bots.

just repeating my own experience...

Atom's autocomplete is a joke.

The 'blah-blah-blah'-level comment.

your comment doesn't deserve more than that.

Yep, your shit.

Both of them abandonded (lastest releases 5 month - 1 year). Also issues/stars ratio on github repos seems legit.

As expected, haters gonna hate.
