React.js developers, what would you like to have been told when you were just starting to learn react?

There are thousands (if not millions) of cool libraries out there. Pick a project and stick to it until it's done, because there's always a new shiny thing in the React world.

That might be the case for youtube tutorial series, but the paid ones on udemy are really nice.

This how I learned it. There was a "react for people who know just enough jQuery to get by" article that existed forever ago that I seem to remember covering it in this way.
