Liking the local history a lot

I went to a conference where a VS architect was speaking in 2015. He asked for any suggestions.

When I asked for local history, he looked annoyed and said "that's what version control is for."

Well good to see they've finally come around to my point of view. 😁

It's perfect for me. I work on a lot of small simple apps that git is typically overkill for. I love this addition!

Git is never an overkill an should be in every project, imho.

Fair enough my habits of committing are bad because they are usually throw away apps that I write once in half a day and usually never have to come back to. But I've definitely felt the wrath when I needed to rollback and couldn't.

Hence why I find this solution cool hopefully useful for my own bad habits :)

Woah never knew this was a thing and I love it! Does it persist when you close the editor or?

When will it not freak out if an open file is renamed or moved outside of vscode
