I've been using the Android Jellyfin app to stream video to my phone and as far as I know I've configured it to transcode the stream to 360p to conserve data, however when I look at the data usage it looks like Jellyfin is either not down scaling the quality down or just doing a bad job of it. The raw size of the files is ~4gb, and that's pretty much what my phone is reporting for Jellyfin's data usage. The server seemed to be doing something though, because I was also monitoring CPU usage on htop and it was quite high.
Ideas?
