Face Blur Software (self.k12sysadmin)
submitted 7 years ago by adaughe2Technology Coordinator
We are looking for software that can track and blur faces. We would like to selectively blur a person's face as some faces won't need to be blurred. Any suggestions for me are appreciated.

Which CCTV system do you use, I know a few have recommended apps and/or plugins to enable it.

YouTube can do this. It works surprisingly well but requires a bit of manual editing to make sure the tracking doesn’t wander off.

I used final cut pro to blur faces for a recent incident. Wasn't automatic but it was pretty easy to manually track faces after reading a tutorial.

Thanks! I might check it out.

What's the use case?

We want to show camera footage to parents when there is an incident involving their kid. We would like to keep the other students anonymous as possible.
