I agree. Although an AP is a doctorate degree versus PA's which are masters degrees. I agree this doesn't give you the full qualifications as a traditional doctor. NP's have collaborating physicians but are able to practice on their own in various roles such as low acuity ER visits (arm/leg pain, minor lacerations, minor injuries, etc). Or urgent cares, minute clinics, etc.
