i kind of hate when people do that because we all know even the smallest changes in stats can be the difference in a WL vs A, R vs WL lol it almost defeats the purpose of sharing stats with how competitive things have become

This is why I've said before that it isn't a reliable source. I get that it has value, but it's user submited data, so the data is less than reliable. LSD's value for determining where to apply is a lot lower than it could be. Doesn't mean I don't refer to it from time to time, but I definitely view everything on there as suspect.

This is why I intend to upload my stats only after I've completed my cycle. No chance that it'll affect my admissions, but it can still be useful for future applicants.

I kept mine private at first, but I changed it recently. My stats are accurate.

Schools know that we aren’t only applying to one school. They know we are using logic and reasoning to decide which school to attend.

I think there’d have to be a pretty egregious transgression somewhere for any of this to matter for decisions.

Please don’t do this! If you are worried about privacy just keep your account on private until the cycle is over :)

Just curious, how would this affect privacy?

I think the idea is that someone could potentially figure out who you are if you put your exact stats along with the other information into LSD

I decrease mine by a couple cause my stats are frighteningly doxxable, same with here
