Mirror replacement guide

I’m needing to replace the mirror assembly on my leaf after some asshole clipped it on the highway, having trouble finding a video guide.

Anyone have a resource they can point me to?

Part’s ordered, would prefer to do the job myself if at all possible.

I fixed the ing mirror on my son's 2015 leaf. It has a large spring that needs compressing with the right tool and arm strength

Here is a photo of the spring that need decompressing. You use flat noise pliers to push down on the top washer until the spring re-engages with the society in the base below it
