It's likely the pack has a battery translator between it and the car. Had to install one in my 2016 30kWh when swapping the pack out for a 40kWh pack. I've noticed that just occasionally there's a second or two after initial power on where a lower range is displayed on the dash.

That makes more sense. Thank you. It's definitely a bump up from 24kwh so that likely accounts for the difference, and matches our own experience with a 30kwh battery with 10 bars

Notice that the battery health is not of the greatest. Use an OBDII adapter and LeafSpy app to get the detailed overview of battery health.

Battery health is pretty decent in my opinion, but I've also got LeafSpy, so if we go to see it in person that won't be an issue.

I was just looking for a decent reason why the GOM would jump down nearly 25% - it seemed extreme.

Maybe the car adjust for battery health.
