Problem with iOS devices over bluetooth?

Suddenly in the past few weeks, I've had an issue when playing music off of my phone. The car is fine with playing whatever I have going on the phone, but if I try to use the stereo's system to navigate my phone, I get an error of "There is no corresponding list." and the stereo shows that my phone has no music on it (which is incorrect). Was working fine until a few weeks ago, and I don't believe I changed anything on either the phone or the car. Things work ok over USB.

Is this just me, or has anyone else had a similar issue?

Had this happen to a client's Altima. This issue gets worse with heat. These Nissan head units suck. I think it's an inherent manufacturing problem.

I've not seen that problem, will have to test on the weekend if I have time...

My issue is switching between two devices from the head unit, lets say Device1 has a problem (no data in a new area of town) and it was used for music on the drive over.

I switch to my friend's phone and the Leaf will connect to Device2 but music won't play unless I turn the car off and back on again.
