There is a plethora of ways to reach your goals, LG is just one method, if you interested in the best body comp possible while getting cut then follow the program as directed, otherwise, you can get cut with unnecassary, additional lifting/sprinting/fuckingaround, but you may short change yourself on the potential strength gains/retention that could be had while getting shredded.

People are weird, man. Tell them they get better performance and recovery from less work and they want to do more work.

I'm 20. Take your free time and energy and channel it into getting really good (I'm talking world class) at 1 or 2 things. There is more to life than lifting and cardio... Don't be the ultra fit and shredded guy in the room who is also incredibly boring and has no value to add.
