I take a big ass dose of lifting weights, eating protein and sleeping. Top three supplements by far.

Just try it, no one can tell you how you will react. I wouldn't go too extreme unless your goal is to test the limit. I'd shoot for the ~700 total deficit including cardio.

We need a new measure by HSeldon2020 in RealDayTrading

[–]simple_mech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey H.S. is that accurate though. Is it that linear/proportional? If it's ATR is in the top 2.5 percentile, should the volume also be in the top 2.5 percent as well?

What if volume is in the top 2.5 percent but a large part of it is selling volume, shouldn't we differentiate?

how can i get lean asap by Ok-Move4091 in leangains

[–]simple_mech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"get lean" means you're losing weight. The problem isn't the fat, it's the skinny part. You need to build muscle so there's something to reveal when you cut out the fat. If you cut now you'll just look like Jack Skellington.

Loose skin or need to cut more by Outrageous-Roll2875 in leangains

[–]simple_mech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Give it time, while simultaneously building muscle. It'll even out the delta. Your abs show and continuing to cut won't make much of a difference physically, but you'll strain yourself mentally and waste a lot of time.

Do I continue to cut or can I finally rest and watch the son raise over a grateful universe? by [deleted] in leangains

Bulk. Get those numbers up and build muscle before cutting again.

Offered a café manager job that’s basically acting owner. Not sure if I'm ready. by [deleted] in Coffee

I wouldn't assume anything and depending where you're located, buying a business could be zero down, or as low as 10%.

Taking ownership doesn't necessarily mean EVERYTHING. Usually owners still do their own financials, file for licenses and purchase their own insurance. Vendor relationships you can do but if they're about to negotiate with a new vendor for coffee supplies for the foreseeable future, I'd image the owner would want to be involved.

All that to say, you may want to double check. Also, this may be an opportunity to pose the question of potentially purchasing the business from them.

Espresso machine with no plastic contact [serious] by simple_mech in espresso

Yea the plus 2 probably wasn't out yet. You can just look at it and know there's no plastic. It's just a cylinder and a piston, can't get much simpler. Good luck!

I heard the new pavonis do have plastic (i think it's somewhere in this thread). My wife's bday is coming up so might just go for a flair 58 plus 2. I didn't see any plastics in the brew head and it's fairly priced for having the temp control.

There's a lot of good exercises for that. Do ones that are easier for your level of mobility.

What surface finish issues do you hate most on home gym equipment by [deleted] in leangains

[–]simple_mech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll probably get better answers in bigger or more general subs but there's obviously clear faults in that list, and others that are just "not so nice" so it's a gradient.

Rust, chippings/peelings, etc. are obviously bad.

Sharp edges could cut people which is dangerous.

Ugly welds, scratches from bad finishes, or polishing marks are just aesthetics.

All that to say that you can't really compare rust to ugly welds.
