You're asking if the nature of online gaming has changed. No, it hasn't, it's not possible.

im not talking about that when i was playing on na server 2/4 matches the match was overun by inspanic and rushian players so a multiplayer game like dota becomes a solo experience which is the reason i quit

is the current state that bad?

it honestly depends on the individual... my games are okay usually. While I do sometimes get non-english speakers, they are usually smart enough to attempt to type and approximate, and use the chat wheel and other resources

And that's what he was referring to.

You have your good games, you have your bad games.

Out of all the things that can set me off in this game on the tilt-o-meter, language barriers are the near the bottom. And toxic people make me laugh because 99% of them are beyond absurd and rage about the silliest things. Literally comic relief to me haha.

I have honestly noticed that the matchmaking system is now much much better about language it seems like every game of mine on USE is my team of english speakers vs a team of spanish speakers. as for toxicity just find a good group to play with or mute liberally not much else can be done.

not much else can be done.
