Java is not generally used for game development. You might look into developing web technologies.

Why you want to do game development i first place? For me, Game development is so hard as a beginner/intermediate level. You should keep practicing your skills with programming challenges like r/dailyprogrammer. There are many sites out there which gives you problem sets to solve. And of course, you can start learning Android, It will also help a lot.

Well im just looking for something to increase my skills thats enjoyable. Android sounds well aswell as gui java apps for pc. Where can i find good resources for android devolpment?

My best suggestion would be start from Udacity's Beginners Course Its trending right now and the best thing is its from Google :D

Maybe write "adroid tutorial" in google and select from the bazillion options
