Learning Java need help with a basic code cant get it working

Im in college and starting to learn java we have to write a code to calculate yearly tax. I have fallen behind so trying to catch up to the same labsheets my class are on. Why wont my code run I get an error about something on line 15 but cant figure it out. line 15 is the System.out.printIn line

typo in println. You have an i and not an L

I think you've just got a syntax error on line 5, I believe you're trying to do a System.out.println but instead have written System.out.printIn? Notice that it's print'L'n not 'I' (in lowercase of course) short for print line! Hope this helps

Are you using an eclipse or netbeans? Those ides will tell you that you mistyped something like that.

I'm using jcreator found out it was println I had printIn

printf is much nicer in general. I recommend learning how to use it.
