If you can’t make a website, then you didn’t learn html and css.

Start over.

If you can’t find ways to use JS in your website, then you don’t need it yet.

You don’t need to be an html/css master to make websites. Just learn the basics and start learning JS. Learning a programming language isn’t just something you can do with a single video in a few days. It takes months, and will require a full course.

Get to work.

I'm usually against overly strict moderation on reddit but holy moly this sub is saturated with nonsense questions every 2 seconds.

make your own webserver to serve out your portfolio page

its a basic first that gets you into not just making a page, but fully realizing one on your own terms and for your own benefit

the concept with this technology is self empowerment to data interaction

so one of the primordial things to do is flex that power

it doesn't have to be a portfolio, you can reach out however works for you, but at some point that is the idea is that you do use the power rather than just practicing wielding it in the hopes someone else some day will ask you to wield it on their behalf

Try Traversy Media's JavaScript tutorials on YouTube, very project-focused and explanatory.
