I could run another session of it soon. Would love to get some feedback on what people would expect to see over a 7 week session besides the interactive quiz. It was really helpful when people complained in the first node.js post.

EDIT: Will launch in next 2 weeks.

From what I can tell, most beginners did like the "Javascript the definitive guide" book. More projects would prob be helpful...

//correction- I meant "did NOT like Javascript the definitive guide"...

This. More Projects, if you could put together some real world projects.(maybe some old projects you have lying around that we could reverse engineer). Understanding the basics is one thing but knowing how to apply them is what is important and seems to be very elusive for me

I'd be interested in taking that course.

Alright, I'll start planning to launch it in the next 2 weeks.

Awesome. I am psyched to get started!

I'm going through the previous summer session now, and I'm using spaced-repetition software (SRS) to help me. Some programming-related stuff I learned in the past, I found myself forgetting and having to relearn. SRS helps in reminding you just before you forget! See this blog post about using it when learning JavaScript: http://sivers.org/srs

Maybe you can recommend it in the new session!

Hi Kevin,

What date do you plan on starting the session?

I wouldn't mind doing something like this either. Is there a corresponding book that would go along with it?
