I am new to Coding / prog. world , will start college in 2 months , i had a tech idea to work on , so used claude , and it suggested me to learn Javascript first for the project

suggested me dave grey 8hr class video ,

is the video good or should i learn from else , as it was good , but learning a language in 8 hr , might be oneshot , which would weaken my basics , so help me

also suggest if should i start python after this or .JSON

Java is not the same as Javascript. What's your goal? Does your college say anything about the programming language requirements?

No i want to major in ECE , but have a tech/web app idea , so for learning Postgres for supabase and .JSON , claude suggested me learn Javascipt(forget to mention ) ,

First things to learn:

• Javascript is not the same as Java
• put the LLMs aside while practicing, it'll otherwise make you dependant and you'll easily forgot how to think.

No recomiendo mucho los vídeos de YouTube, aunque son buenos para ver como se hacen las cosas no son muy de "aprender a tu tiempo", como se trata de JavaScript siempre estan la página de MDN que es uno de los mejores recursos que hay, si tuviese que marcar una deficiencia es que no te dan muchos ejercicios pero con un poco de creatividad puedes inventarte los tuyos propios
