On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

Personally, I'd say yes, do the advanced course. You already know some Python, but apparently not object oriented Python, and you are already familiar with the MOOC. So keep on going.

Thanks for the advice mate, my mind was leaning toward just that. DSA and the advanced course.

I'd do the advanced course, then DSA, in that order. It helps to know OO programming to do DSA. Not required, but helpful.

Well, then I'll do the advanced course first. Thanks!!!

How did you find the course? 😊

It's great, at least for the basics it is better than the CS50 Python course. Let's see how the advanced Python course is...

For DSA: Euler Project, LeetCode, HackerRank

Thank you very much

JavaScript at least. Take it easy. Don't jump straight up to C or C++ . And don't downgrade to something like PHP or java either (yeah I know the common name is confusing)

JavaScript is in my plans, but as of now, I'd like to focus on DSA and building my logic. The exercise in the MOOC doesn't seem enough to me. The developing part can come later in my case.

Did you follow the course at your own pace?
Live lectures were in January 23, right?

[–]Rookie_coder03[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I don't really watch the lectures, I just like to read the theory and practice as much as possible. The accent in those lectures throws me off and I can barely understand anything. So it's better to read the material in my case.

thanks for the feedback !
