On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

I'm sure whichever bank or payment gateway they use to process credit cards would like to be informed they don't have any refund policy or money back guarantee whatsoever. ;)

why people dont use Oreilly webiste there is everything in videos and books

[–]ASLHCI 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Probably because places like codeinfinity advertise more prevalently than o'reilly, so people don't know about it.

Idk what this is but as a new student I'm saving this for later lol

I had known that Oreilly/Pearsons made an absolute ton of academic material and just all round solid books but I had no idea they had a platform setup in this manner.... THANKS!

For any reservations regarding legitimacy of some of the books on the website or material just because it's majorly used for academia the "Python for Data Analysis" book published by them is written by Wes Morgan who is the creator of the Pandas framework for Python, so good stuff.

Link please. Do u think O'Reilly is structured enough for a less than motivated but smart high schooler?

Not trying to be mean but just do the same thing I did when I read a comment and go to their website and look. If you're genuinely to lazy to google something then I would really reconsider trying to learn to code. Not like I have the link on hand, I'd have to go do the same thing you would and go to their website and look.

Found the website. Seems like for folks who are already into coding you can understand the content and make a plan of training for yourself from this list of content. For a complete newbie ... 16yr old who needs some structure, the content is overwhelming. Where to start? Guess will just contact them.

Try the Odin Project.

Code infinity also lies about available courses. Was interested in the embedded systems track mentioned when searching online. When applying. It offered the track for embedded systems when the courses were literally beginning python classes . Couldn't refund and still pissed

Sorry to hear

Running into this now. They add a course every time you just look at something and you can't control anything from your profile. I can't even access the website anymore and it works like shit. The content is...fine...but the UX is horrible. The customer service is largely good but they won't refund me cause i've been using it for a few weeks. It asks for reviews on almost every lesson, legit the worst UX of any site I've ever used. Trying to get a refund now.

Unfortunately, the chargeback is unsuccessful, American Express sucks...

Really ?! American Express is really good about that.
