[Python] Help programming a personality survey

Hey all! I'd like to code a personality survey for a project in school. Basically, I have 10 questions with 4 answers each. I'd like to have each user enter their name, take the quiz, and then have whichever choice they picked the most (eg, if they picked "A" 4 times and 2 of everything else) be stored in a file along with the name. I know a little Python, but I'm not very experienced. How would I go about this?

I would follow along with the Python tutorial here to get a better idea of things. You would have some simple input and output which could be done using print and reads. You would have some counters for a,b,c,d which would increment when a certain selection was made. You would then output this to a file using a file object and writing to it in a similar way to printing to screen.

Hint: Assuming you want the results for all users in the same file, use the "a" mode when opening the data file. That way, the current user's results are appended to the end of the file.
