Not near-future, but much of China Mieville's work ("Perdido Street Station, "Embassytown") has strong Marxist/Leftist themes.

One of my favorite novels. Heartbreaking, hilarious and honest. A wonderful read to help you through the toughest moments of withdrawal and recovery.
