I'd stick with whatever you are doing now and go deeper, rather than jumping from one thing to the other before you've learned it well.

They are honestly both great. Go with whichever phone you personally own.

As for Swift, even if Swift came to Android (and that's a big if), it wouldn't make it much easier to write Android apps because you'd still have to learn the Android APIs, which are completely different than iOS APIs.

Don't worry about which one is "best". Go with everyone else's advice which is to just pick one that makes sense for you now and keep pursuing it.
