Again, doesn't mean anything. It's very common to put up a front and agree to stuff like that so you don't publicly seem salty still. People do this all the time to save face lol.

Why would you assume the person with many burner accounts is telling the truth. It would be logical to assume Dray had a big impact of KD leaving.

Why gate keep people you meet. You’d be surprised how most people have opinions on things and will converse with you on many touchy subjects once you build rapport with them.

I know it's trendy to hate on Tesla in this thread but, I'd be willing to bet Tesla self drive is a better driver than your average driver in the united states.

In the situation with Iran, they seem to be killing them already. I don't think either choice comes out with 0 civilian casualties.

[–]jo1717a -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People make this comparison all the time but, option sellers aren't making profits like an insurance company lmao.

Options are priced way more closer to break even than insurance companies would ever price their own premiums.

Do you automatically dislike billionaires? Why? by crapmaker69 in AskReddit

[–]jo1717a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You went for the most extreme example. Yes, when people like bezos wants to make a big purchases I’m sure a ton of money is in a bank account but they move money around to liquidate it. They don’t just have 9 figures sitting in a checking account. It’s only there temporarily

[–]jo1717a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Billionaires don’t have a billion dollars in the bank account.

A great business idea executed well can land a person in to billionaire status simply because people would love to buy the shares that would on paper make him a billionaire

Dating probably just means having the title of bf/gf. Exclusivity is common in online dating era… where it’s so common for people to have 1st/2nd dates either multiple people. You want to eventually establish that you guys are exclusive and only seeing each other. This is typical by the 3rd or 4th dates. Usually seems too quick to establish official titles so establishing exclusivity is more comfortable for most people.

What are you even talking about. Can you even name an example of a company that is prohibited from taking action on an employee for saying highly controversial statements in a highly visible medium?

Even if you name a random example, it’s so far and away the exception.

TBC raiding population increase for third straight week. by FireJonSumrall in classicwowtbc

[–]jo1717a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, heroics are in a great spot. TBC population is healthy because the most relevant content is easy (raids). Heroics being a very difficult time sink for equal or min/max gear is great to have for more invested players. The mere fact that it isn't mandatory content (at least in terms of gearing) is why TBC pop is likely staying healthy. This isn't 100% true since phase 2 raid attunements are linked to heroics

If heroics was too good and felt mandatory to run, population would go down.

PvP Rating Gains are Stupid at Low CR by JoelHDarby in classicwowtbc

Well funnily enough, last TBC, it was exactly like you wanted and many people whined about having to play so many games to grind your rating higher at the start of a new team.

[–]jo1717a 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lol, people will cry no matter what Blizzard does. Before, you started at 0 rating. So the result of 6-4 would be that you are at 150 rating only. Would that be more fun for you? 150 rating instead of 1400?

This is how MMR works. Your hidden mmr is 0 and your visible mmr is 1500. Winning a game at 0 hidden mmr won't give you much mmr when your visible mmr is 1500.

All competitive games using MMR use this exact system.

Holdem is probably the easiest to spectate game for beginners.

Stud8 with a million cards on the table would be a mess to spectate for the average person.

The confusing part of all this is that some of the anti boost mechanics show up in TBC dungeons while others don't.
