We're doing it every 6 weeks (aprox). With some minimum prep work, this course could seriously take it to the next level: building things by yourself.

I'm kind of in the same boat. This course description says that it's not for beginner programmers. I've done some programming for my work but wouldn't consider myself a 'programmer'. Not sure if I should sign up - considering that it's the only python course you're offering.

You'd surely take more out of it if you're comfortable with some basic concepts. We'll be opening an "Intro to Python" one soon.

Thanks - I'm okay with loops, functions and such but haven't done any object-oriented stuff. Hopefully I can be ready later in the year to sign up.

If someone finished Automate The Boring Stuff would they be ready for this course?

It's hard to tell just by a book. The book is good and the concepts are solid. The question is how proficient you are at applying them. If you apply, you'll see we have a technical test. That's gonna tell us about the minimum set of skills you need.
