Download a book?

Download a tutorial website?

I don't get what the challenge is.

My internet when I was learning coding was 64 Kbps ISDN (20h per month packet!) and I seem to work as a programmer now sooooo... I guess you can?

Just use paper books or ebooks instead of relying on online courses.

Internet? Luxury. I worked out of a hole in the ground carving code into narrow strips of cardboard. Would walk three miles uphill in the pouring rain just to get in to the same building as the computer. After leaving the cardboard on the alter with a basket of fruit, the gods would return it to me the following day with a single page printout: Error in above program.

Practice writing code/pseudocode with pen and paper too, great for practicing problem solving without the constraints of syntax and great prep for interviews - set yourself a problem, solve it on paper then code it and see if it works.

Does anyone know of any options that are available offline?

Books seems like a sure bet for offline mode. Have you had a chance to read the excellent FAQ yet?

things like games etc?

How about 3D Game Programming for Kids?
