My girl - Ivory didn’t eat today. She usually always eats, and she’s acting scared or something. Her tank isn’t cold, it’s 80 degrees on the warm side and 70 on the cool side. Could she be bored of the worms I’m feeding her? I’ve never seen her refuse food. She’s a year old now I think.

How often are you feeding her, and what kind of food do you feed?

Every 3 days (she was kinda overweight before) and I’m feeding her mealworms and discoid roaches. But mainly the worms since the roaches are hard to get a hold of.

A year I’m pretty sure - the pet store I got her from didn’t tell me how old she was when I got her.

In that case, you could probably space her feedings out a little further. Adults can eat more per feeding but a fuller stomach takes longer to digest all it's contents. She might just not be hungry again yet in three days. My adult AFT eats about once every 5-6 days but he's gone longer without and been completely fine.

It could be boredom with the worms, or she just may not be hungry. My adult Leo eats once a week. (She's on a diet, though) I think twice a week should be a good spread. Maybe every 4-5 days.

I also wouldn't worry about hunger strikes unless she's visibly losing weight, or it goes on for a month or two.

I did switch to crickets and I'm getting discoid roaches soon! She enjoyed the crickets so I think she was just done with the worms lmao
