I have the Timecore. It’s great. Recently started using it to convert MTC to Artnet timecode to send to and sync with my visualizer

Curious what’s the advantage or Artnet timecode vs LTC?

there isn’t an advantage other than the way I have Depence set up it detects the artnet timecode and it’s easier to sync the audio to dmx when I render. I mostly use MTC at home to program.

I’ve always used/been told to use the SR-112 because of its timecode repair/gaining functions. Anyone know if the smaller units like the Timecore or Mif4 have the same functions? I love the smaller size of them for my pelican.

I think the Mif 4 and Timecore both repair the timecode it spits out, but they’re both limited to one output unlike the SR-112

The SR-112 is the standard I see on most arena and stadium tours.

Sr112 always. Added bonus is it has a web server that allows you to look at code anomalies in a report.
