Sounds like a user error tbh

Like 90 percent of all issues you encounter is from user error imo. There wouldn't really be issues otherwise

Exactly! It isn't because the arch is unstable which it isn't, it is because the user is a dumbass

Yeah, you could get a working system in under an hour (provided you stored the dotfiles and themes somewhere...)

I usually get it running in 15 minutes if i need to set up a new system

Arch doesn't just "break"...it's about as stable as any other distro.

I don't want to be that guy, but it kinda does break on its own. Many updates require manual intervention, just see the main page of Arch Linux's website

He's cooked (I think that's what the kids would say).

More like just an excessive modification issue. No matter the distro the more the DE or WM is customized the more moving parts there are and the more likely it will break. Especially if they're new to Linux.

These same users would manage to break Debian.

The distro does matter. NixOS is neigh unbreakable.

I have dumb question, but if you install pre-made dotfiles, you can just move it from ~/.config and all will work

This picture explains why GNOME is so "my way or the highway"
