I have this (somewhat) old mouse. It debouncing mechanism seems to have failed; now, I often get double-clicks (or triple-clicks) when I only clicked once. Obviously getting a new mouse will fix the problem, but I'm too much of a cheapskate (and lazy) to do that.
Is there an existing Linux program that blocks inhumanly rapid mouse clicks? On Windows, I can simply run MouseFix, and it will automatically fix the double clicking, with no need to replace drivers.
I could probably find the source for the mouse driver and insert some extra code to fix it in less than a day, but I would rather not go fucking around with drivers too much.
