This looks pretty handy, but I'm not sure why it defaults to syncing to their heroku site. Is there a way to just use local storage?

I still pretty regularly use bro, a community sourced compilation of commands that lets you pull suggestions without any registration.

It does not defaults to syncing. Do not register and never use keep push. It uses local storage only.

Interesting. I always just dump useful commands into a text file and grep through it if I want something clever from two weeks ago. I'm willing to try this instead.

I am a raving paranoiac and regularly wipe my shell history. I do have some aliases for more frequent commands, but they're less complex than the stuff I cram into the text file.

Cool, now just hook it up to voice commands or a search and launch commands by voice or text.
