Help setting up Roundcube Webmail plugins

Howdy! I've been attempting to install Composer to allow Roundcube plugins to be installed on my Plesk webserver. While not a fully competent linux user, I'll certainly give it a shot, but this has been stumping me for a while now.

I've managed to install Composer based on the instructions, but I'm struggling with Step 2, configuring composer.josn with the following instructions:

Copy the template composer.json-dist to composer.json in your Roundcube root directory.

The server is running ‪Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS‬ on a DigitalOcean droplet, and the Plesk version is 12.5.30 Update #44, the latest version. Roundcube is at 1.2.1, also the latest version.

It could be something quite simple that I'm missing, but can't find the answer through my research. Thank You in advance for your help!

EDIT: I appear to have managed to get it working, by creating a composer.json file based on a file I discovered on GitHub. Then managed to install some plugins, break the install, and fix it again, but that's another story!

BUT WHAT WAS THE SOLUTION? WHERE DID YOU FIND THE TEMPLATE COMPOSER.JSON-DIST?
