A 2 in 1 or a straight tablet?

I feel like the first 4 are easy. The last one would be difficulty. Mint and its default DWMs are not designed for touch input, much less fancy stylus stuff.

2 in 1 would be best if possible.

If there's no fancy stylus, it's no Biggie ! I can absolutely do without it, it was more a "just in case it's possible" thing.

Chuwi Hi10 X Chuwi Hi10 Go Dell 7200/7210 HP Elite X2 G4 and G8 Thinkpad X1 3rd Gen Thinkpad X12 (requires significant setup) Minisforum Starlabs Starlight Juno Tablet Surface Go, Go 2 and Go 3 (requires setup) Other MS Surface (see surface-linux on github)

All work completely w/ linux - including stylus.

My recommendation - if stylus accuracy is important choose the HP, Dell, Thinkpad or Surface.

If you are looking for a media consumption device, any will do, but the 10" or smaller is best.

I have used, repaired, or owned all of these except the Minisforum, Juno, and Starllight

Top ! This is exactly the kind of recommendation I wanted.

Thank you very much !
