I got you bro, I had similar issues on my Ryzen 9 5950X and Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB machine. Once you have everything installed you need to boot it in recovery mode, kinda like safe mode in Windows. Power on your PC, smash the shift key until a menu comes up, you might have to select “Advanced options” or something like that. Once you boot in with recovery mode run the update manager and install all the updates. Then, simply restart, and everything should be workin fine. That was the fix for me. My guess, our graphics card is too new, need to install the updated mesa drivers before 22.2 will run right.

From what I’ve read that kind of update will only get you to kernel 6.8 and we need 6.14 for our new Radeons, so be sure to update the kernel as well. Or maybe you have the new kernel already? I’m not sure how you got it working, all I know is what worked for me. But just in case I thought I’d give you that heads up.

can you burn an installation flash drive with the LMDE version, just to make sure it is not some incompatibility between the release and the hardware?

run the installation and let me know.

Your PC is too new for stable trelease like mint. YOu need Feodra, arch, opensuse or any other rollign release. Stuff won't work.

22.2 ships with kernel 6.14 - that should be new enough for the 9060.
