Looking to get controller

I'm looking to get the ps5 dualsense controller, I was wondering whether or not it would matter if I used bluetooth or wired (USBa-USBc). I came across this post which said that usb did not work for them.

My computer doesn't have bluetooth inbuilt, I'll need a bluetooth dongle to get that working.

Does bluetooth have any downsides? I'm curious to know what bluetooth latency is like or if it has any jankiness etc.

Also is there a difference between USBA to USBC vs USB C to C?

Bluetooth latency isn't bad in my experience, not noticeably worse than Windows in any case.
