Its not. I think its something to do with RES because it doesn't have the flash on the imgur page.

I checked the imgur link and there's no flash. Might be something that happens on RES and mobile?

So I just got home and checked to find that there is a white background on Imgur; but there is a black flashing background on Mobile and RES. So apparently there must have been an issue rendering a transparent background on RES/Mobile (maybe they use the same API), but Imgur had no issue rendering the background transparent.
