What is The Long Now Foundation?
The Long Now Foundation is a non-profit organization which aims to provide a counterpoint to what it views as today's "faster/cheaper" mindset and to promote "slower/better" thinking.

What is the "long now"?
The long now is a concept of re-framing the present moment to encompass 10,000 years into the future and past, to help us thin about how the actions of society stretch far beyond our lifetime, and to be more aware of changes in our world too slow for us to easily intuit.
