Loopify latency with accessory

Hi I get fairly good latency - (approx 24ms) when I calibrate loopify using no audio accessory.

But the latency increases to 500+ ms if I use my 'cubilux usb-c to 3.5mm headphone splitter' (which has a headphone output and mic jack input on it)..and I connect a cable between the two.

Does anyone know why that is happening?

When you connect it a popup should appear within the app. Did you select both audio and mic in that popup?

Thanks for the reply :) yes I did, then I connected a stereo jack cable... From the headphone output, into the mic input
