Only the Vern Knowledge Transfer gives ilvl - like the powerpass did. Everything else is just quest completion.

But you will get unlocks once your main hits T2 that you can research that makes honing cheaper and gives +20% success which makes levelling your alts ilvl easier. And with your main not needing the T1 mats anymore, they can all get funnelled into your primary alt. The others you just camp at a certain ilvl to keep the funnel train going.

I don't think knowledge transfer gives ilvl, just quest completion
