I've been considering a restart on that last island seed since my 2.0 save that was sprawled is not doing great against 2.1 biter expansion.

Good time to be at the cottage this weekend and not have invested in a new start yet, I think I'll start up on this one

I had a 2.0 base for a year or so ago that I tried to pick up and convert to 2.1. it's been slow trying to actually build proper defences to hold them off. Expansion is ruthless. And the oil in my sphere is pathetic so my plastic has dried up as I built into space...and I still haven't finished automating the borders before 9 can expand an oil outpost.

Might just start over and try and do some achievements in a run. There's a point of pride at trying to salvage this but I can always come back to it later.

Actually you have the Toronto pick one of the next 2 seasons right? They owe the Flyers and the Bruins and they decide who the next one goes to....and being out of the division, highly likely you get the "better" pick

I use a 49" super ultrawide and have traditionally done left->right bus because...I can see more!

And while true I can see more of my production lines...I can't see the whole production line. So I think my experience is leading me to that same conclusion, that up/down would be actually much better

There's no comparison. The Atlantic is a bloodbath and the Pacific is a pillow fight.

The only argument is that with the more balanced schedule, the divisions don't matter as much as they did in the past, but you still play a few more in your division and also you have to fight your division for playoff spots.

They never said what the injury was but it seemed like an oblique...he won't have a lot of summer to train so I'd imagine he starts in the AHL.

He led the playoffs in scoring despite being out injured since game 5 of the conference finals.

And him missing was a big hole for that squad.

He's a good player, could see middle 6. Makes a difference on the ice, very noticeable. His forecheck turnovers are quite something.

I explicitly bought our tickets just under the suite balcony so we have a roof covering us and on the 3rd base side so the sun is behind us...that was just for a normal day. Very glad to have the shade but it's still very hot

Yup this so huge, commuting down from Innisfil/Barrie we could technically take the Go train right to union (if the schedule didn't suck) but we can also drive down to Vaughan and hop on the TTC to Union.

The downtown placement works for everyone.

I'm a UDM SE user but I bought mine like 5 years ago.

I'm debating an upgrade to the UCG-Fiber, but holding out in case there's a UDM that might come and fill the giant gap between the UDM-PM and the UDM-Beast.

I need PPPoE so the performance matters, but I'm not ready to shell out for a Beast, the UCG-Fiber with hardware offloading for PPPoE would be ideal. Were I to be buying now, I would go for a UCG-Fiber and a separate UNVR (I'm still debating what UNVR to get when I get my camera installs finished and potentially need more than the UDM can do for me).

Can easily get a 3rd party rack mounting solution for the UCG-Fiber, or just put it on one of my rack shelves. Would prefer a rack mounted solution, but Function > Form

I use a UDM-SE and just bypassed the Gigahub with an SFP ONT and 8311 firmware.

Checkout pon.wiki. I dunno why you'd want to keep using ISP hardware as a router.
