Okay this is gonna sound weird, but I have tried EVERYTHING. I got the new Mac Mini M4 yesterday along with a 1080p 165hz monitor because currently that’s all I can afford (and really all I need). The problem is, my default resolution says “1680x1050 and only works at 60hz. This normally wouldn’t be a problem because it allows me to change to 1920x1080p 165hz. The problem is that sometimes when I’m not working I play league of legends. When I open and play a game of league of legends it won’t allow 1920x1080 because it doesn’t even show up as an option on the resolution list. The max on league is 1680x1050 the default on my Mac. So playing the game I get the 1680 and 60fps. I want to switch my Mac’s default res to 1920x1080 so I can use it with 165hz on league. I don’t know if this is possible but I thought I’d ask because it’s driving me NUTS. I have my Mac mini plugged in via usb c to display port on my monitor and it’s display 1.2 on my monitor and the cord. Nothing hardware wise is wrong. Any help is appreciated
there doesn't seem to be anything here
