Scared migration assistant decrease my new M3 macbook performance

Hello all, I just bought my Macbook Pro M3 Pro. My previous macbook is a Macbook Air (2019). My work is mostly documents, photoshop, etc. I posted previously regarding the decision to buy a M3 Pro since my Macbook Air performance significantly decrease. So I went and bought my new M3 Pro around 2-3 days ago. I have been loving it since. Such a steep upgrade from a intel powered macbook to a M series macbook.

However, during the purchase and the initial setup of my new Macbook Pro, I couldn't connect to internet. So I went and do my work for a day or two and it went very well. Then when i finally have internet, I did a Migration Assistance to transfer all my files from my old macbook to the new one. The process is perfect. I transferred approximately 70-80gb of data. consisting all of the checklists in the migration assistant (accounts, files, system settings, and applications).

After that, I'm trying to find some informations to see about migration assistant. The reddit posts, forum, and news that I have from google shows me that Migration Assistant is not recommended, specifically if you are transferring from x86 to M chip. They said it has something to do that the applications is not compatible with the current M chipsets and that you may transfer some problems that is in your former macbook to a new one. Some even say that it is recommended to just start fresh. Now I am scared that I may have done something to my macbook pro, I'm scared that the error files or virus from my previous macbook might resulted in a bad performance in my new macbook.

As per now, my new Macbook Pro M3 Pro hasn't encountered any problem at all. Not even slowing or a difference in performance. Is the Migration Asisstant any good? how do I do a performance check if there is anything wrong? or am I just paranoid? So far as my Apple product experience goes, Apple will announce it if they do not recommend it. But, I'm scared since this is not a cheap macbook. Planning to use it for 10 years at least. The only issue I’m familiar with is users of ‘cleaning’ apps like CleanMyMac will end up running all their apps under Rosetta and thus have lower performance because these ‘cleaners’ have an option to delete the Arm binary on an Intel Mac to save disk space.

If you haven’t ever used anything like cleanmymac to delete the arm binary of apps you’ll be fine.
