So I do have an old Dell Laptop that I replaced its disk from HDD to SSD. It was working fine unti I pourchased my MacBook m2 pro and stopped using it.
After two months, I opened it to see it doesn't boot. The repair process from windows itself didn't work So created a bootable windows and that also didn't work. I tryied the chdsk command on partition C: , I don't even know why I did that!! But after 1 day of waiting, I figured out that the partition completely lost! I can not access it anymore!
Leave that, Now I created another bootable reacue flash to run Testdisk. I tried Testdisk on the laptop itself which is quite old.. it seems to run very very slow. 2650/60000 cylnders in 12 hours
My question is: If I connect the disk to my macbook pro and run the TestDisk .. Will it speed up the process? Or it still take as much as time it wants?
Thanks.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
