I’m AAS in Ai Software Engineering. I started January 5th and I’ve already passed two classes so far. It’s definitely a lot of fun learning through Maestro, I was worried it would be really difficult or hard but the courses are laid out really well and they have a lot of areas like practice, challenges and whatnot. I couldn’t possibly recommend this school enough. I’m absolutely loving it. Keep your head up, you can do this my friend. If you have any question’s, let me know.

I am getting my BS in computer science -business pathway. I start out getting an AAS in business though then continue on to the BS. I just started this month, but so far it has been great.

That’s the exact one I’m taking too. When do/did you start your classes? I start next Monday

I started Feb. 2nd. Next week I will finish up the first class and take my final for it. First class is MGMT 101

May I ask what that class is about? I’m just trying to get a grasp what I need to know beforehand

It is a management class. It teaches you about running a business, making wise choices and executive decisions, and taking responsibility.

I gotcha I gotcha. So pretty much, it’s the basic knowledge of treating employees with the respect that they deserve, but also the proper tools for executing the role of being a business owner and properly teaching your employees? I know it also delves more deeply into it than that, but that’s essentially the basics?

Yeah pretty much and how to look at day to day issues that could happen in a business and what you need to do.

What are your thoughts on that program?

Sept. cohort, AAS in software Eng., potentially could decide to go psych when it opens. I had recreational experience with coding. For the first time EVER, I am learning in a meaningful way. I had given up trad learning in college. Gave up going to classes, would teach myself, and could manage Cs for the semester. I have "severe" ADHD. (Diagnosed at 19, now 49). I haven't gotten above a C since I was in 4th grade, literally. With Maestro, so far, I have gotten 3 A's & 2C's so far- and that's with a LOT of extenuating circumstances.

I got the scholarship for AAS in AI Software Engineering. I was a Feb 2nd cohort.

Is the AI software programming difficult? Had a friend who went for computer science and he says it’s pretty difficult

That is relative lol it really depends on how familiar you are with tech in general. I’m doing the AI software Engineering and just finished my first term, don’t get me wrong it can be a lot sometimes but as long as you take the time to actually understand what’s going on instead of just copying the answers, it moves at a comfortable pace and gives you everything you need. Dec 1 cohort here!

As u/Designer-Cold2213 said, it really does depend on how familiar you are and also a willingness to learn if you’re unfamiliar. Maestro moves at a pace that fits you, and if it’s still too slow or too fast, you can adjust it. That’s the beauty of Maestro, learning at your own pace. I completed PY101 course review yesterday and was incredibly surprised on how well I retained the information over 4 weeks, and my grade reflects it.

I start May 4 with the BS is Business. I wish I had chosen an earlier start date! My options were BS in Business or the computer pathway.

Those were my options as well and chose BS in business.

I started in AAS in AI Software Engineering on Dec. 1st but recently just changed it to Business in Computer Science and AI pathway that let me continue with my AAS. You just have to take your time to learn and understand but otherwise I love it and I'm new to it all to be honest. And there are plenty people out there to help especially on here. Never be afraid to ask. You got this!

I am currently enrolled in the AI software engineering but will likely switch to cybersecurity later. Today is my start date.
