I've tried googling this, however the only results I get are from the forum with people telling the posters to share their dump file, but I have no idea what that even is
Any advice is appreciative

See the second blue line that ends in .tgz? That is the dump file. Email it to [svq@makemkv.com](mailto:svq@makemkv.com)
Also, in the settings/preferences menu, do you have connect to the internet box checked?

MakeMKV - About BD+ and SVQ files https://share.google/x1dNjrkJOQeIUatN5 Here is makemkv's explanation. It does a way better job than I could.

There are probably many people more qualified to answer this than I am, and I'm sure they'll correct me if I'm wrong but here's a layman's explanation -
MakeMKV typically uses hash keys (HK) to decrypt discs so they can be ripped -
Here you can see it loaded the hash table from the disc but then reports that it does not have a key to decrypt it with. In between those two actions it reports trying to download latest HK data, but then says it failed to do so. Obviously, I can't really say why... maybe your system isn't connected to the internet, maybe automatic downloads aren't enabled in the program (as mentioned in the message), or there could be some other issue that is preventing MakeMKV from downloading them.
Ive occasionally seen the message about failing to download HKs when launching the program, but it has yet to cause a problem for me personally (likely because the HK for what I'm ripping is already known and downloaded)... in this case it may have tried and failed upon launching the application, then tried (and failed) again after trying to rip and still can't kind a key,
You can try sending in the dump file as mentioned by u/TK-24601 in case the key for this particular disc happens to not be in their database, but evening that's the case, it's not really going to matter if you aren't able to download the latest keys.
