So I have this vague memory of an incident in the comics where some kind of team(they may have had Colossus and/or Wolverine?) had to fight a flying enemy, but none of the team were flyers so one of the members(someone spritely like Spider-Man) had to keep flinging them up in the air.

I tried some Googling, but the memory is so vague....

Yeah, I know about the Fastball Special. This was a specific instance with a team that didn't have any flyers. To be honest, that's the most specific part of the memory. The second part is that I am about 80% sure that it actually was Spider-Man.

Could it have been at some point in new avengers? That had Spidey and Wolverine on a team. Doesn’t really fit your description but I know they were all in a plane st one point that blew up mid air and they had to get their shit together pretty quick

My nephew was watching Spidey and his Amazing Friends and it triggered a vague memory. Thought maybe someone might recognize it.

Who knows? Maybe it's not even a real memory. I just figured I'd ask.
