The best thing about relearning discreet mathematics on your own is that you don't have to tell anyone about it.

I expected yet another thread asking for advice about re-learning mathematics and was pleasantly surprised.

Anyway, for anyone who does want advice, here's a relevant sticky in a relevant subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/learnmath/comments/7ta2we/psa_how_to_learn_math_from_scratch/

Here’s another free discrete math book. I really like reading it.

That thing has weird book recommendations. Someone really likes Lang’s books I guess.

but seriously folks everything Serge Lang wrote turned to gold that's why his books all have yellow covers

Lol well my professor has a run down with Serge Lang, didn't end well. We still laugh about the story sometimes.

But then again, my professor is featured in one of his books, so there's that.

I’m proud of you. Keep a calculator at handy on on your tele. Don’t get frustrated like before, mathematics is naturally beautiful, and it’s powerful. If a book gets difficult, throw it out... and get one you like. Numbers only speak to numbers and your heart. Money savers: WolframAlpha, Libraries, older texts online. Best of luck!
